My Halloween at Home

On Halloween day, my family and I had a lot of fun. We made masks and decorated a haunted gingerbread house from Trader Joe’s. We then carved my pumpkin to look surprised with an open mouth and large eyes we got from the Dollar Tree.

My family and I didn’t get to go outside and trick-or-treat like some families did. We did get to trick-or-treat inside. It was a lot of fun! When night came, we got on our costumes. I dressed up as a soldier this year. My brother was Duke Caboom and my little sister was a unicorn.

We then ran upstairs where my mom had decorated closets and had them glowing with glow sticks. We gathered our candy and got to eat some of it. Then we watched It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown while we ate popcorn. It was the best Halloween I’ve had.
